Auto Prune
=/
I thought I can use your MOD to auto closed my threads after some days, however, upon activating this MOD, and typing '0' in the settings to prevent it from Pruning my users, it went ahead to prune my users.

So now, how can I get back my users? =/

RE: Auto Prune
If you don't have a backup, there's no way. I'm sorry about that.

RE: Auto Prune
Jeesh! I guess I'm the lucky one, in that the auto prune didn't prune at all! I'd hate to have lost most of my members! Wink

RE: Auto Prune
Risky, eh? Well, the next time I need to try out a plugin I'm not sure about, I'll be sure to use my test forum! Wink

RE: Auto Prune
Is it possible on future release to be able to prune by forum or category? For example, i have a forums named CNN, BBC, NY Times that uses rss2post. I'd like to be able to only prune the those forum every 2 days, not affecting the other forums.

RE: Auto Prune
You should be able to. If you read the setting description for entering the forums/days to prune, you should be able to.

I think the syntax is something like
<fid>=<days>

But I'm not sure. I have to redo that plugin some time too.

RE: Auto Prune
ok.. crap. I posted on the wrong mod. I was sure "Auto Prune" was meant for deleting posts made, not member pruning. Obviously, one would have to read the description more than half way.

What I meant was prune post [x] number of days for each forum, which might be the Clear Database mod. And again the name is a bit confusing to me. So i guess this resolve me issue.

thanks for the reply

RE: Auto Prune
Well yeah Autoprune prunes both members and posts to your settings (you can disable one or the other if you want).
